    Optika je vrlo važan dio fizike i poučava se i u osnovnim i srednjim školama. Edukacijska istraživanja u fizici pokazala su da studenti imaju poteškoće u razumijevanju osnovnih koncepata u optici. Brojne identificirane učeničke miskoncepcije teško je promijeniti kroz tradicionalna predavanja. Istraživanja su pokazala da je interaktivno istraživački usmjereno poučavanje puno učinkovitije u razvijanju učeničkog konceptualnog razumijevanja. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je razviti materijale za interaktivno poučavanje optike. Pokusi su posebno zanimljivi za učenike a optika pruža puno praktičnih mogućnosti za eksperimentalni rad u razredu. Ovaj diplomski rad sadrži nastavne pripreme i opise jednostavnih pokusa u geometrijskoj i fizikalnoj optici s pitanjima za interaktivno učenje i poučavanje. Pokusi su jednostavni za izvođenje, a oprema je relativno lako dostupna. Većina pokusa i nastavnih materijala iz geometrijske optike testirano je u školi, i iskustva su bila pozitivna i poticajna za daljnji trud u interaktivnom izvođenju pokusa.Optics is a very important part of physics and it is taught in both primary and secondary schools. Physics education research has shown that students have difficulties in understanding basic concepts in optics. Many identified student misconceptions are difficult to change through traditional instruction. Research has shown that interactive inquiry-based teaching is much more efficient in developing student conceptual understanding. The aim of this diploma thesis was to develop materials for interactive teaching of optics. Experiments are particularly engaging for students and optics provides lots of practical opportunities for experimental work in classroom. The diploma thesis contains lesson plans and description of simple experiments in geometrical and physical optics with questions for interactive teaching and learning. The experiments are easy to conduct and the equipment is relatively easily affordable. Most of the experiments and teaching materials from the geometrical optics were tested in school, and the experiences were positive and encouraging for further efforts in interactive conducting of experiments

    Allelopathic effect of plant species Aloe vera (L.) Burm. f. on germination and initial growth lamb's lettuce and carrot

    Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi utjecaj vodenih ekstrakata pripremljenih od svježe mase listova vrste Aloe vera (L.) Burm. f. na klijavost i početni rast matovilca i mrkve. U Petrijevim zdjelicama ispitivani su vodeni ekstrakti u koncentracijama od 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% i 10%. Na klijavost sjemena matovilca i mrkve stimulativno su djelovale više koncentracije vodenog ekstrakta te je povećana do 16,2% odnosno 19% u odnosu na kontrolni tretman. Više koncentracije ekstrakata pokazale su inhibitorni utjecaj na rast klijanaca matovilca, dok su niže koncentracije djelovale stimulativno. S druge strane, ekstrakti su djelovali pozitivno na rast i razvoj klijanaca mrkve te stimulirali duljinu korijena i izdanka te svježu i suhu masu klijanaca. U prosjeku, veći alelopatski utjecaj zabilježen je na klijancima mrkve nego na klijancima matovilca.The aim of this research was to determine allelopathic effect of water extracts prepared from fresh leaves of Aloe vera (L.) Burm. f. on germination and growth of lamb's lettuce and carrot. The water extracts in concentrations of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% were evaluated in experiments conducted in Petri dishes. High concentrations of water extract positively affected lamb's lettuce and carrot, increasing the germination up to 16.2% and 19%, respectively, relative to the control treatment. Higher concentrations of water extract negatively affected the seedling growth of lamb's lettuce, while lower concentrations showed positive effect. On the other hand, the water extracts positively affected the seedling growth and evolvement of carrot, stimulating the root and shoot length, fresh and dry weight of seedlings. In average, higher allelopathic effect was observed on seedlings of carrot than lamb's lettuce

    Soja (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) značajna je bjelančevinasto-uljna biljka s visokim sadrţajem minerala i vitamina u zrnu. Ima veliku ulogu u industriji, kao i u ishrani ljudi i ţivotinja Budući da je soja tako značajnija kultura, potrebno joj je osigurati sve uvjete za normalan i neometan rast i razvoj. U tehnološkom procesu uzgoja soje, značajnu ulogu zauzimaju korovi koji u velikoj mjeri utječu na cjelokupan prinos zrna, kao i na njegovu kvalitetu. Tokom cijele vegetacije, biljka soje ţivi u kompeticijskom odnosu s korovnim biljkama koje svojim prisustvom oteţavaju ţetvu, negativno djeluju na kakvoću zrna i pri ţetvi povećavaju njegovu vlagu. Zbog ovih činjenica suzbijanje korova potrebno je provoditi, što je upotrebom selektivnih herbicida moguće i postići. Aplicirajući selektivne herbicide u različitim vremenskim rokovima, pre-sowing, pre-emergence i post-emergenc te kombinacijom agrotehničkih mjera suzbijanja korova na pravilan i odgovarajući način moguće je postići ţeljeni učinak u smislu kvalitetnih i velikih prinosa..Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) is an important protein-oil plant with very high concentration of minerals and vitamins in its beans. It plays important role in industry, nutrition of people and animals. Since it is very important culture, all conditions for its growth and development should be satisfied. In technological process of soybean cultivation, weeds significantly effect overall bean income and its quality. During the whole vegetation, the plant lives in competitive relationship with weeds, which make the harvest complicated, decrease bean quality and increasebean moisture. Due to these fact, weed control should be carried out, which is achievable using selective herbicides. Appropriate application ofagro-technical measures and herbicides for weed control in different time frames, pre-sowing, pre-emergence and post-emergence, leads to high quality and quantity incomes

    Najmanje objašnjena istraživačka tehnika u metodološkoj literaturi je upotreba dokumenata u sociološkim istraživanjima. U tekstu se stoga ističe važnost dokumentarnih izvora, koji predstavljaju izazov konvencionalnim istraživačkim pristupima. Dokumentacijsko istraživanje se odnosi na analize dokumenata koji sadrže informacije o fenomenu koji se namjerava istraživati. Međutim, dokumentarni izvori su često zanemareni u društvenim znanostima i korišteni tek kao dodatan izvor podataka. Istraživanje dokumentarnih izvora zahtijeva strukturirani metodološki pristup, koji uključuje procjenjivanje kvalitete dokumenata i njihovo smještanje unutar teorijskoga konteksta radi razumijevanja sadržaja dokumenata. Disciplinarni karakter suvremene sociologije nužno će uključivati različiti istraživački materijal, metode i načine analiziranja drugih društvenih i humanističkih disciplina, koji mogu biti korišteni i u sociološkim istraživanjima.The use of documents in social research is the least explained research technique in the methodological literature. Therefore, the paper highlights the importance of documented sources, which represent a challenge to conventional research approaches. Documentary research refers to analysis of documents containing information about a phenomenon intended to explore. However, documented sources are often ignored in the social sciences, and used only as an additional source of data. The research documented sources requires a structured methodological approach, which involves assessing the quality of the documents and situating it within the theoretical context in order to understand the content of documents. Disciplinary character of modern sociology necessarily involves different research materials, methods and ways of analyzing from other social sciences and humanities, which therefore may be used in sociological research.La technica della ricerca meno spiegata nella letteratura metodologica è l’uso dei documenti nella ricerca sociologica. Il documento sottolinea pertanto l’importanza delle fonti documentate, che rappresentano una sfi da per gli approcci convenzionali della ricerca. La ricerca documentaria relativa ad analisi dei documenti i quali contevano le informazioni di un fenomeno che è destinato a esplorare. Tuttavia, le fonti documentate sono spesso ignorate nelle scienze sociali, e utilizzate solo come ulteriore fonte di dati. La ricerca delle fonti documentate richiede un approccio metodologico strutturato, che comprende la valutazione della qualità dei documenti e metterli nel contesto teorico per comprendere il contenuto dei documenti. Il charactere disciplinare della sociologia moderna coinvolgerà necessariamente la ricerca di materiali diversi, metodi e modi di analizzare le altre scienze sociali e umanistiche, che possono essere utilizzate nelle ricerche sociologiche

    Methodological Thought on Postmodernist Concepts

    Autorica je pokušala metodološki promisliti postmodernističke koncepcije i tako ukazati na novu formu istraživanja, koja se javlja pod utjecajem novih promjena na nove pristupe u društvenim i sociološkim istraživanjima. Očito je da uslijed gomilanja suvremenih razloga, kao i onih metodoloških, principi postmodernog istraživanja postaju dio prihvaćene prakse. Određivanjem utjecaj postmodernističkog diskursa na društvena i sociološka istraživanja, naznačen je odmak od formalne pozitivističke epistemologije modernog doba. U skladu s tim, problem rada se usmjerio prema razmatranju poststrukturalizma koji smjera na dekonstrukciju koncepcija stvarnosti, istine i znanja, dok se osnovne ideje poststrukturalizma sažimaju u terminima jezika, istine i značenja. U suprotnosti s formalnom pozitivističkom paradigmom, autorica je istaknula nekoliko različitih „postmodernističkih” pristupa, koji odbacuju epistemologiju temeljenu na objektivnosti i prihvaćaju empirijski, konstruktivistički i akcijski pogled na svijet. Na taj način smo ukazali na postmodernizam kao na novu paradigmu u društvenim i sociološkim istraživanjima koja ukazuje na promjene tradicionalnih metodoloških koncepata.The author has tried to methodologically present postmodern concepts and to point out the new form of research that appeared under the influence of new changes in the new approaches to social and sociological research. It is obvious that the ensuing amassments of contemporary reasons, just like the methodological principles of postmodern research, have become a part of accepted practice. By defining the influence of postmodern discourse on social and sociological research, there has been a notable move away from postpositive epistemology of the modern period. Accordingly, the problem of the paper has been directed towards consideration of poststructuralism which has been directed at the concept of reality, truth and knowledge, while the basic notions of poststructuralism have been summarized in terms of language, truth and meaning. In opposition to the orthodox paradigm, the author has emphasised several different „postmodern” approaches which move away from epistemology based on objectivity and embrace empirical, constructivist, and an action oriented worldview. In this way, the changes of traditional methodological concepts have been indicated

    Development of research competencies: What kind of research is required in early and preschool upbringing and education?

    Pokretanjem diplomskog studija Rani i predškolski odgoj i obrazovanje pri Učiteljskom fakultetu u Rijeci prije 6 godina, pored ostalih važnih kompetencija, definirana je i važnost te načini stjecanja istraživačkih kompetencija kroz različite kolegije i metode poučavanja. Šestogodišnje postojanje studija ukazuje na otežane mogućnosti provođenja istraživanja, koja predstavlja jedan od temeljnih načina stjecanja navedenih kompetencija, o čemu svjedoče studenti i sama odgajateljska praksa. Stoga je osnovni cilj ovog anketnog istraživanja pitati odgajatelje što smatraju bitnom i važnom temom istraživanja s obzirom na njihovu praksu, kako bi se uskladile potrebe studijskog programa ali isto tako i potrebe odgajateljske prakse. Ovo istraživanje provedeno je na prigodnom uzorku N=145 odgajatelja te se provela anketa s pitanjima vezanim uz cilj istraživanja koji je bio ispitati odgajatelje o njihovim istraživačkim kompetencijama, te kakve stavove imaju prema njihovoj važnosti u praksi. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da odgojitelji koji su sudjelovali u ovome istraživanju smatraju istraživačke kompetencije iznimno važnim elementom njihova djelovanja, ali smatraju da iste nisu dovoljno razvijene.By lauching a graduate study Early and preschool education at the Faculty of Teacher Education in Rijeka 6 years ago, besides other important competencies, the importance and ways of acquiring research competencies were defined through various courses and teaching methods. The six-year existence of the study points to the difficult possibilities of conducting research, which is one of the basic ways of acquiring these competences, as evidenced by the students and the educative practice themselves. Therefore, the basic objective of this survey is to ask educators what they consider important and important topic of research in their practic, in order to match needs of the study program, but also the needs od educative practice. This survey was carried out on a sample of N = 145 educators and a survey was conducted with question related to the research goal that was examined by educators about their research competencies and what attitudes they hold to their relevance in practice. Research findings have shown that educators participating in this research consider research competencies as an extremely important element of their work, but they feel that they are not sufficiently developed
